hi
what is the dff wtwn the agging type inactivity and absolute ... is it the inactivity time = agging time in minute ?

Inactivity defines the idle time, whereas, Absolute is absolute Time to live.

is the Time to live = agging time of mac add table ( 300 sec by default ) ?

Hi Hamid,

By default aging time is disabled so it will never age out.

EDIT: _port-security_ aging time is disabled by default

PS - there can be slight variations to how port-security (and other switch features) are implemented on different platforms. (Example 4500X versus 3560X) Always check the platform/code version to verify. On 3560X for example you can't age out a sticky mac address.
