Reading health research in a study group

For a group discussion of medical research, I would start with the study itself and check how large the reported effect is in absolute numbers. MedProofs has a health news section at https://medproofs.com/health-news/ that can provide topics to discuss, but a news summary alone is not enough to judge a treatment.
